The aim of this course was to provide the clinical multidisciplinary team with the latest evidence-based advice on diagnosing and managing community-acquired pneumonia and pulmonary tuberculosis; to describe the current developments in influenza, surveillance, vaccination and dissemination to target groups. This was a joint ERS/PREPARE/ECDC course funded by the European Union's 7th Framework Programme.
